KFS Production was founded in Slovakia in 2006 under the name Sokol Kollár. To date, it has produced and co-produced fifteen feature films. Despite the complications caused by the pandemic, the production company has not interrupted its projects and has prepared the Slovak-Czech comedy Villa Lucia and two television series – Ultimátum (original title 8 hodín) and the new television crime series Neuer. This year, it is preparing the project Vodonoh.

Michal Kollár was born in Bratislava, then still part of Czechoslovakia, on April 4, 1977. He began his film career in early childhood, when he discovered an 8-millimeter amateur camera and, at the age of 12, was already making short films that won awards in the Czech Republic and Slovakia thanks to their exceptional production and technical sophistication.

She studied English and French languages and their associated culture and history. She has been involved in film and television since 2012. She has worked for the production companies Trigon, Fog’n’Desire Films, and Sokol Kollár, which has since transformed into the current company KFS production. She was the Slovak executive producer of the films Red Spider, Red Captain, and Home Care, and co-producer of the film Moments. Since 2017, she has been the producer and managing director of KFS production.
